One of InReality’s Own Joins the 2015 IDSA Board
Chris Livaudais is Named New IDSA South District Vice President
ATLANTA (May 8, 2014) – As it marks its 50th anniversary, the Industrial Design Society of America (IDSA) recently appointed a new board to office. Among its new members includes InReality’s very own, Chris Livaudais, as IDSA’s South District Vice President.
Founded in 1965, the nonprofit Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) is one of the oldest and largest membership organizations for industrial design professionals. IDSA sponsors the annual International Design Excellence Awards® (IDEA), the world’s most prestigious industrial design honor, and its events, including an annual International Design Conference and five district conferences, bring together the brightest minds in the profession. INNOVATION, IDSA’s flagship publication, is a highly regarded magazine within the profession.
Initially inspired to join by his passion for design education and outreach within the community, Livaudais decided to join the IDSA. And, for the past eight years, he has held a few positions on the board of the Atlanta Chapter of IDSA, including Chapter Treasurer and Chapter Chair. Livaudais holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial design from Auburn University and works as an associate creative director of experience and service design.
