Dormeo Octaspring Partners with Info Retail for Help to Break into the North American Market
Stylish European Consumer Brand Looks to North America to Grow Worldwide Presence
ATLANTA (Nov. 8, 2012) – Today Info Retail (IR), the Atlanta-based customer experience (CX) strategy and design firm, announced a new partnership with Dormeo Octaspring, the revolutionary European sleep brand. In this partnership, IR will work to support the Dormeo Octaspring brand as it grows its presence on the floors of retailers throughout North America.
Dormeo launched in 2002 with a single mattress and is now a sleep and lifestyle brand with over 100 different products in more than 30 countries around the world.
IR initiated their work with Dormeo at the recent Las Vegas Market in the World Market Center where IR designed and constructed the Dormeo Octaspring showroom to reflect the “deliciously decadent and whimsical” feel of the brand.
“As a company newly launching our products in North America, we had a distinctive need to show our prospective retail partners how the Dormeo Octaspring brand would best interact with the consumer in the retail environment,” said Chris Henning, President of Dormeo Octaspring, North America. “We chose Info Retail to help us do just that with the design and construction of our new showroom at the World Market Center in Las Vegas. It was an overwhelming success and helped us convey the distinct look and evolutionary feel of our complete product line.”
“We expanded on Dormeo’s strong brand in a creative way to help design an educational and interactive showroom experience,” said Florian Vollmer, Senior Vice President of Design and Principal at Info Retail.
IR’s experience with design work melds the revolutionary design of Dormeo lifestyle products with signature design motifs from the brand identity, such as the chandelier and salutes to old French motifs. The goal of the design was to create an experience for the North American bedding retailers unlike any other showroom experience. As a part of this, IR developed distinctive zones in the showroom that lead the visitor through an emotional and educational journey, anchored by innovative product experience, digital signage, and the Dormeo product itself used in entrancing and unexpected ways.
